Just A Man Who Can Never Fail

nanrod:

Yo David Cameron, I know you got the most seats in parliament and I’ma let you finish, but Gordon Brown made the greatest coalition offer of ALL time!

… As I wrote this, looks like Ed Balls mucked the whole thing up.

Edit: I don’t really mind which way the Liberal Democrats swing on this - there are pros and cons to each. But the prospect of a referendum on STV just gets me way too excited. Not that the right honourable members in parliament would let things ever get to that stage.

Alternative Vote is equivalent to a big pile of arse.

I’m actually quite excited at the prospect of the Lib dems and Torys either forming a coalition or making a working agreement. I think it truly is the best way forward in the mean time. Politicians of different back grounds and view points isn’t exactly a tragedy, it’s the way should be. It’s nice to see everyone wearing there amicable hat.

I don’t disagree with voting reform, I do however disagree with PR as it’s a system that doesn’t work. There needs to be a majoritarian system to allow a party to govern strongly. But it shouldn’t be a walk over. Negotiation is the best thing to come out of this election….well, the fact that Gordon has got the sack ain’t to bad either!
